Preserved Pompeii

The one ring around her finger,

my heart upon her limb.

Unable to remain dormant,

our love slowly expands.

Here she lies, relaxed with me

sleeping, cuddling while we kiss.

If choosing only one eternal posture,

it would be nothing else but this.
