Goals and motivation

Before the weekend started I posted a list of goals I wanted to achieve.
Here is the post if you missed it: Why a list of weekend goals?

Finish editing one of my characters story

  1. Complete a short story for competition – Furious Fiction
  2. Finish reading The Dragonbone Chair
  3. Mow the lawn
  4. Do the washing
  5. Build a bookcase; and
  6. Do some form of physical activity – walk the dog, run or ride my bike.

Sadly I didn’t finish them all only: 1,3,4,5 and 7. Although, I did not finish the whole list, I am going to use that as a motivator for this week coming – finish the unfinished before moving on.

Do you finish off what you started before moving on?

I know a lot of writers do this with manuscripts. However, people are talented enough to have multiple novels going at the one time. I can’t otherwise the narrative and character voices blend together and sound too similar.

What motivators will you use for this week?

If you think someone has an interesting point of view and answer, please invite them or share this post to them.
